Visa-free travel between Saudi Arabia and Russia
As of 11 May 2026, the mutual visa exemption agreement between Saudi Arabia and Russia has officially entered into force.
Under this agreement, Saudi citizens can travel to Russia without a visa and stay for up to 90 days a year for tourism, visits or business — without the right to work or study.
Russian citizens enjoy the same privileges when travelling to Saudi Arabia.
This is an important step that will make travel between the two countries easier and strengthen cooperation in tourism, investment and business.
