VDNKh — a whole city of attractions in Moscow

VDNKh is one of the largest cultural and leisure complexes in Europe and one of Moscow's top attractions. It opened in 1939 as an exhibition of Soviet achievements, and today it is a whole city with vast parks, historic pavilions, museums, children's activities, restaurants and cafés.

The Russian abbreviation VDNKh stands for "Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy" — the project was created to show the country's greatest industrial, agricultural and scientific achievements.
