Zaryadye Park
One of Moscow's newest and most beautiful parks, in a wonderful location just a 5-minute walk from Red Square and the Kremlin.
The park brings nature, architecture and technology together in perfect harmony, with quiet places to relax alongside lively restaurants on the banks of the Moskva River.
Zaryadye is famous for its unique Floating Bridge, named so because it seems to float above the river.
From the bridge you get a panoramic view of the Kremlin, the river and the beautiful architecture behind it — and golden sunsets over the Moscow sky.
You will also see the former Red October chocolate factory, the industrial-style power station and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.
It is one of the first places every visitor should see when getting to know Moscow.
Inside the park you will find:
- The media centre
- The Florarium (plant house)
- The underground museum
- The famous Zaryadye Concert Hall, which hosts world-class performances
There is also an open-air amphitheatre — one of the most photographed spots in the park, after the Floating Bridge of course 😄
The green areas are not ordinary either: they are divided into four climate zones representing Russia — tundra, steppe, forest and northern meadows.
In summer the park hosts festivals and all kinds of activities.
Where to eat in Zaryadye
- Gastronomic Center Zaryadye — a food market with dishes from different regions of Russia
- Vostok restaurant, designed in the style of 1960s space exploration, serving dishes from the former Soviet republics, with a large terrace overlooking the Kremlin
